Compo rules
Generic compo rules for every platform
- Entries will be accepted on the following media:
CDR/RW, DVDR/RW, USB drive, 3.5" floppy, 5.25" DD floppy (for retro compos).
Of course you will get these back after we have copied the entries onto the compomachine.
- Remote contributions are allowed, but someone has to be
present at the party to pick up your prize in case you win.
If you want to contribute by e-mail, please contact the respective
organizers.
- The organizers reserve the right to remove entries from
competitions. These entries won't be shown, won't be spread
and won't be votable. In individual competitions this usually means
preselection to avoid a huge amount of entries to be presented,
in other competitions it solely means quality control and
eventual compatibility problems. If your entry doesn't run on the
compo machine, we'll do our best to help you to get it
running though.
- Previously released material is not allowed.
Covers, remixes and derivative works can only be entered with the consent of
the original author.
Rob is Jarig is only allowed to be entered by dutch sceners if
they are present at the party.
- For every entry we'd like to ask for a FILE_ID.DIZ, containing
the prod's name and author, optionally the compo and party.
(Note: Traditionally FILE_ID.DIZ's are 40 characters wide at most.)
- D3DX9 DLL's will be installed from version 24 to 30.
